A med student’s perspective
Pros:
The organ systems are very detailed, the anatomical relationships are accurate, and the navigation is pretty good.
This is an incredible method to gain a 3D understanding of the human body
Cons:
the “pin” function. I have to drop a pin multiple times before it will take.
the app lacks bony landmarks, which I think is an essential piece of musculoskeletal anatomy (although I think this is available on the “skeleton system plus” app for an extra $10)
I would love to see more detailed neuroanatomy (e.g. label more sulci/gyri, etc.)
I’m almost finished with my first year of med school, and I’ve used this app heavily throughout the year. I would definitely recommend it!
Update: the “pin” function works fine as long as you don’t have any structures selected, just a small glitch, but I’m glad I finally figured that out.
